Let’s begin with the last events for the 2018 season – to be held in Roswell, NM on Oct 20th & 21st, 2018. If you haven’t ridden at Roswell, make this the year you do. Roswell’s terrain is surprising and fun to ride.
If you attended the events at Sipapu in August you know that a discussion was held regarding MWVTA’s charter & insurance, along with a vote of the membership on staying with ITSA or applying with AMA. The unanimous vote was to apply for an AMA charter. Our AMA charter was approved and Roswell will be our first events under the new charter and insurance. What this means is that to ride a MWVTA event you must now be an AMA member.
The date for our annual banquet has been set for November 17th, 2018, and will be held at the Elks Lodge in Raton, NM again. Be sure to save the date on your calendar while the remaining details are worked out.
