It is official – ALL riders must be a member of ITSA (International Twin-shock Assoc) to enter a Mountain West Vintage Trials Assoc event.
ITSA is the organization which provides the insurance for MWVTA events. The organization has made a final ruling that in order to provide the insurance, anyone who is participating in an insured event MUST be an ITSA member.
Joining ITSA is easy. You can join online at ITSA’s website or in person at your first MWVTA event of the season. If you join ITSA online, keep your receipt as proof of membership until you receive your membership card.
At this time we are not requiring membership in MWVTA to ride an event. However non-members will not receive series points or be eligible for season awards, and it will cost you $10 more per event to ride. MWVTA Membership is only $15 annually, so head on over to the Join MWVTA Online page and join for this season.
