How to earn 2023 MWVTA points at the Mosteller Cup
MWVTA RIDERS – MOSTELLER CUP SIGNUP GUIDELINES
For the Mosteller Cup meet, MWVTA riders should sign up for a WMVTA class that corresponds to their usual MWVTA skill level.
Here are your options:
MWVTA SKILL LEVEL= WMVTA CLASSES
C = NOVICE or (VINTAGE B, bike must be air cooled)
B = AMATEUR or (VINTAGE A, bike must be air cooled)
A = INTERMEDIATE or SENIOR INTERMEDIATE
M = ADVANCE or SENIOR ADVANCE
The weekend MWVTA rider scores will be extracted from the Mosteller Cup results and entered into the MWVTA standings.
IRONMAN / IRONWOMAN GUIDELINES
The Mosteller Cup Ironman and Ironwoman is a Saturday event where the rider completes 30 sections on a modern bike and 30 sections on a vintage bike.
If you want to ride the Ironman or Ironwoman *
* and you ride a vintage bike in the Mosteller Cup, you must ride a modern bike for the Ironman or Ironwoman.
* and you ride a modern bike in the Mosteller Cup, you must ride a vintage bike for the Ironman or Ironwoman.
* you cannot ride the NOVICE WMVTA line. Any other line is okay.
* you will be given a COLORED score card for your ride and those scores will be posted separately from the Mosteller Cup scores.
* there is an additional $25 fee.
(vintage bike = air cooled, modern bike = not air cooled)
Primitive camping is available on site. Dogs must be on lease, under control, and cannot roam freely.
MWVTA Line to WMVTA Class conversion:
Masters (M) = Advanced
Expert (A) = Intermediate
Intermediate (B) = Amateur
Novice (C) = Novice
