Almost 30 MWVTA members & spouses attended our 2015 Annual Meeting & Awards Banquet on March 12th! It was great to see so many folks come for the fun & food.
Voting was held at the banquet for the “Over the Bars” Award…which was won by Chris Porter for being the most instrumental of the TY80 group and his efforts to increase NM riders at MWVTA events. Other awards presented were Trials Masters & Support Staff sweatshirts and season number plates for all the class winners. Lots of fun door prizes from socks, tire gauge, chain, chain lube to a couple of tires, were also given out.
There were some updates approved at the annual meeting….here is a recap of the updates:
- All events – registration will open at 8:00 am. Rider’s meeting will be at 9:00 am.
- Entry fees – Member: $25 per day, must be a member of MWVTA & ITSA. Non-members: $35 per day if you are not a member of MWVTA and ITSA.
- Member cards MUST BE PRESENTED at signup to qualify for the $25 member fee.
- Events counted for series awards will be half + 1. For 2016 this will be 7 events.
- A minimum of 4 rides/events are needed to qualify for series number plates.
- Series number plates with the rider’s name & place will be awarded to 1st, 2nd & 3rd place riders for each class. 4th place & down will have only the rider’s name on the number plate.
- Master’s Class will be Master’s Vintage for vintage qualified bikes and Master’s Modern Support for modern support bikes. Riders signing up to ride the Master’s “line” will compete in the appropriate Master’s Class.
