Saturday’s event saw two riders in the Historic Class/B line finish with 3 points (all 1’s) and 27 cleans. A ride off was needed to resolve the tie. The rest of the riders and spectators had fun cheering for both riders. With 3 rides each in the ride-off section, Daniel Joslin bested Jeff Nestor for the win.
After a rather windy Friday afternoon, Saturday and Sunday enjoyed pleasant temps for riding with rain moving in later in the day. Thank you to the “League” (80 OTS) for sharing their sheltered area for Saturday’s traditional BBQ. And a special thank you to Paul Smith and Dan Straka for the delicious burgers & hotdogs.
Patty Smith’s help was really appreciated with scoring on Sunday, as was Terri McWhorter’s help with taking photos on Saturday. (Photos will be posted soon). Trials Masters John Clement, Paul Smith, and Rick Pring also appreciate everyone who helped with setting sections.
The next rounds (5 & 6) will be on June 23rd & 24th at Lake Fork, NM. Event details will be posted soon.
