MWVTA congratulates Ron Shoemaker for his superior riding in the 2015 NATC Western National Series. Ron won the title for the Twin Shock class riding his Bultaco Sherpa T. (NATC stands for the North American Trials Council, also known as Mototrials)
If you really want to see how you rank at a national level, try riding a NATC event. The Twin Shock class rides the “Clubman” line along with other classes with modern trials riders. You can see how you rate among both vintage and modern trials riders.
There will be 2016 NATC Western National Series events in Oregon and Colorado, which are great opportunities to ride a national event – or just go spectate and see how easy some riders make trials look. If you prefer traveling to the east coast, the 2016 NATC Eastern National Series events will be in Florida and Tennessee.
You’ll definitely want to practice a lot between now and next year though, if you want to try to take Ron’s title away.
