Primitive camping is available at no charge.
A potluck is planned for Saturday evening. Burgers & dogs provided bring a side-dish or something to share,
and bring your own beverages.

Driving directions:
From US I-25, take exit #242 for US-550 West. Continue 22 miles to San Ysidro (watch your speed through
town), and go about 1 mile to the west of town.
On the north side of the road there is a gated, sandy/dirt road. The gate should be unlocked on event days, but
please close it after going through (don’t lock it). If you are arriving early, call Ron at (505) 331-2239 for entry
instructions.

The event area is about 1.2 miles up the road, and the road is generally passable by any vehicle.
This area is shared so please be courteous if you come across any hikers or cattle grazing.

From Hwy 50 in Howard Colorado, take route 4 east across the river.  Follow through the ‘town’ of Howard.  Take Route 45 south to Sand Road. Turn left.  The Turkey Rock Trials Area just up the road on the right.  BLM signs will indicate that you’re in the right place.

Tucker Ranch is a beautiful trials venue located in Cotopaxi, CO. The Tucker Family, owners of this private property, have been supporters and promoters of Observed Trials for generations.

We are very appreciative that the Tucker family allows MWVTA to hold events on their ranch. Please be considerate of the Tucker Family and all their neighbors.

  • All vintage, twin-shock and modern bike support class riders are invited to attend.
  • Spark arrestors required ~ no spark arrestor, no riding.
  • All competitors MUST have a current AMA membership.
  • OHV sticker not required.
  • Primitive camping is available at no charge, pets welcome ~ must be under control.
  • Burgers and hotdogs are provided for the traditional Saturday BBQ. Please bring a side-dish or something yummy to share. BYOB.

Directions:
From CO Hwy 50, turn north at Cotopaxi / CR 12. Turn right onto the first dirt road past the cattle guard (about 4 1/2 miles from Hwy 50). Follow the dirt road for about 1 mile to the pits. There is also a dirt driveway so be sure to stay on the road. Watch your speed along the road to keep dust to a minimum & the neighbors happy.

Lake Fork is a beautiful area of public lands in the Jemez National Recreation Area west of Santa Fe, NM.  On site camping is permitted.  Be aware that this area is a shared, public area.  As such expect others to be camping and using the area.  
Burgers and hotdogs are provided for the traditional Saturday BBQ. Please bring a side-dish or something yummy to share. BYOB.

Directions:  

From Albuquerque take I-25, Exit 242 (US-550 Exit). Total distance from here is 57 miles, 1.5 hours. Take US-550 North toward San Ysidro for 23.5 miles. Turn Right onto NM-4 East for 26 miles. Be VERY careful of speed traps going through Jemez Springs. Turn Left on NM-126 for 3.8 miles. Turn Left onto Forest Service Rd. 376, it is a dirt road. Head down that for a couple miles, you’ll be going down Lake Fork Canyon. The camping spot is along the road on your left. (Forest Service Rd. 376 continues down Lake Fork through the tunnels and comes back to NM-4 between Jemez Springs and Jemez Pueblo. A nice drive on a fairly good dirt road. How to earn 2023 MWVTA points at the Mosteller Cup

Details coming on how to earn MWVTA points….

Your loop scores will then be translated into daily scores as if you rode a MWVTA event. 

There is no extra entry fee for MWVTA this year. 

Then, you will receive points toward your MWVTA Series based on the bike and line you ride, and your finish overall in the Mosteller Cup. It’s that simple. 

Enjoy a Saturday evening BBQ and Pot Luck, Swap Meet, and the Mosteller Cup Ironman competition on Saturday. The Wyoming Motorcycle Trials Association will be providing burgers, dogs, fixin’s & tableware for the BBQ. Bring a side dish or something else to share. 

Primitive camping is available on site. Dogs must be on lease, under control, and cannot roam freely.

Come join the fun at the most famous trials event location! Roswell offers a great riding area with amazing rocks. It’s well worth the drive.  And, this is the last MWVTA event for the 2024 season.
All vintage, twin-shock, historic Mono-shock and modern bike riders are invited to attend.
A potluck is planned for Saturday evening. Burgers & dogs provided ~ bring a side-dish or something to share, and bring your own beverages.
Primitive camping is available on-site, the Haystack Mountain OHV Area – visit their official web site for up-to-date information. The entrance is exactly at mile marker 357 on
US-70 East.
Be prepared for a fun event!
Spark Arrestors are required.

Driving directions:
From the junction of I40 & US-285 South, follow US-285 South for 134 miles. Turn left onto
US-70 East. Go about 19.5 miles, turn left at the microwave towers on the north side (left
side) of the hwy.
The parking area is just past the towers and is a bit hard to find, especially at night.
Watch for highway traffic that is not expecting people to be turning off the road here.
